Spc. Byron Spears, of Lewiston, Idaho, native, with Headquarters and Headquarters Troop force protection, documents an area needing repair on the perimeter wall of Victory Base Complex on Oct. 14, 2009. The 1/82 CAV quick reaction force noticed some damage along one of the walls while out on patrol. They alerted force protection. After review of what needed to be done and the coordination of materials, the wall was repaired.
