160218-N-YM440-168 STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. (Feb. 18, 2016) A Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS) instructor trains international students in small arms maintenance in the International Small Arms Maintenance (ISAM) course. The course provides students with basic training required to repair and perform routine preventative maintenance on both foreign and U.S. small arms and crew served weapons systems. Courses may be tailored for both foreign and U.S. weapons systems in the areas of weapon and ammunition fundamentals, malfunction analysis, disassembly, inspections, cleaning and troubleshooting. NAVSCIATTS is U.S. Special Operations Command’s International Center specializing in mobile and in-resident training across the tactical, operational and strategic spectra strengthening partner nation capabilities and capacity.
