A CH-53E Super Stallion prepares to pick up its intended cargo during a helicopter support team exercise, aided by Marines with Landing Support Platoon, Combat Logistics Battalion 2 at Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 2, 2016. The training allows squadron pilots to practice loading and unloading cargo from a CH-53 Super Stallion without touching the ground, as well as allow the Marines with CLB-2 to sharpen their reaction times while helping load and unload cargo. The Marines working underneath the Super Stallion all have critical roles in ensuring mission accomplishment, working together to attach the equipment on the ground to the helicopter while it hovers in the air about 10 feet above them.
