Fort McHenry, along with amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall, and USS Carter Hall, and the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan are participating in Operation Unified Response as the Bataan Amphibious Relief Mission and are providing military support capabilities to civil authorities to help stabilize and improve the situation in Haiti in the wake of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that hit the area, Jan. 12.
