Third Army Soldiers and service members serving with Army units participate in the first day of the Combatives tournament held at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Jan. 15. The competitors vie for first place in each of the seven different weight brackets. Third Army hosts regular combatives classes to prepare Soldiers for hand-to-hand combat, maintain physical fitness and build self confidence in themselves and their training.
