160308-N-NE195-001 CHINHAE, Republic of Korea (March 8, 2016) - Equipment Operator 3rd Class Kohl Chrislock, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, and a Seabee of the Republic of Korea, hoist a 75-pound concrete block up a flight of stairs to deconstruct a portable pier during a joint training exercise on the ROK’s training base, March 8. These mobile piers provide a crossing path for civil engineering support equipment between bodies of water. The training is designed to practice cohesion between ROK and U.S. Navy Seabees for the potential of contingency operations in the Pacific.
