Marine Sergeant Haili Shimko (left), and Marine Captain Tina Terry assist Bernice "Bee" Hadu, veteran pilot of Women Air Service Pilots (WASP), conducting pull-ups at the Women in Aviation International Symposium in Nashville, Tenn., March 12. Bee is 95 years old and was a pilot during WWII with WASP, the first women to fly American aircraft. She was inducted into the Aviation Hall of Fame in 2000 and the 2016 Women in Aviation International Pioneer Hall of Fame in 2012. Bee also wrote "Letters Home 1944-1945," a book about her WASP experience based on letters her mother had saved from her. Shimko is a crew chief and Terry is a pilot, both stationed in Quantico, Va.
