This Air Force unit patch for the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center - now framed with a certificate of authentication signed by NASA astronaut Air Force Lt. Col. John M. Lounge - went into space for five days in 1988, aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-26. The patch was discovered recently in a storage room. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt.
