Joseph St. Germain, a Soldier in the 103rd Civil Support Team, Alaska National Guard, emerges from his protective suit after a simulated decontamination following a simulated hazardous material cleanup operation, April 2, 2016, at the Alaska State Fairgrounds during exercise Alaska Shield 2016. An Alaska Railroad water tender served as the source of a simulated sulfuric acid leak, necessitating the skills of the 103rd CST, an organization composed of Soldiers and Air National Guardsmen.
