Tressler - a Memphis, Tenn., native and gun truck driver with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, 155th Brigade Combat Team, the Q-West force protection company from Hernando, Miss. - walks the western ramparts of an old fortress, which stands remarkably intact on the saddle of a ridge near the village of Khan Najma, Ninewa province. Members of Tressler's company, a Mississippi Army National Guard unit, visited the site while returning from a mission, Feb. 3.
