Jerry Van de Vyver salutes during the National Anthem during a naming ceremony at the GM Renaissance Center on the Detroit international riverfront. Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus announced the Navy's newest Arleigh Burke class guided-missle destroyer, DDG 120, was named Carl M.
