Living Support Area Hope is being created by three different Seabee commands, Amphibious Construction Battalion Two, Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit, and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion. LSA is a living space that can hold up to a 2,800 man tent camp, this camp is the future home of the Joint Task Force. Naval Beach Group Two is conducting humanitarian and disaster relief operations as a part of Operation Unified Response after to the 7.0 earthquake Jan. 12.
