Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment salute the flags as they are raised during the opening ceremony of Summer Shield VIII on April 17 at Adazi Military Base, Latvia. Soldiers from Canada, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United States are participating in the annual exercise that trains staff to plan, coordinate and execute different elements in defensive operations.
