U.S. Army Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, form a wall hoping to deter a group of angry protestors from advancing during a 36-hour operational readiness exercise deemed Operation Sharp Griffin. The operation was held on Camp Prizren in Kosovo May 7. The U.S. Soldiers provided support to their German counterparts who were the primary force during the operation. U.S.
and NATO forces have contributed to the United Nations-mandated peacekeeping
