Twenty-six pay specialists with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard's 528th Financial Management Detachment celebrated the completion of their mobilization training at Army Support Activity-Dix March 8. The Soldiers from the Keystone State are headquartered out of Lebanon, Pa., and will deploy to Iraq to engage in financial pay missions and operations. Ensuring contractors get paid for services rendered is crucial in maintaining sound relations with the Iraqis. Also providing casual pays to military personnel help to maintain a high level of morale within the troops. Accepting the detachments Yellow Banner during a ceremony at Griffith Field House is 1st Lt. Eugene Ingalls from Coudersport, Pa., and his noncommissioned officer in charge, Sgt. 1st Class Marlin Vandermeer, a native of Pottsville, Pa.
