    380th Air Expeditionary Wing

    Airman 1st Class Samuel Siewert, firefighter with the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron fire department, moves equipment from a fire truck while training at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia on March 14. As an Air Force firefighter, Siewert and his fellow firefighters are responsible for protecting thousands of deployed personnel and billions of dollars of Air Force assets from fire. He is deployed from the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., and his hometown is Oconomowoc, Wisc.
