YOKIJIDO ISLAND, Republic of Korea (Apr. 3, 2016) - During the construction of a road project on Yokjido Island in the Republic of Korea, Builder 1st Class Oscar Barba, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 finishes the surface on the road by smoothing the surface of wet concrete with a bull float Apr. 3. Adding finishing touches such as this will create a smooth surface and will give the road a high quality and professional look. Once complete, the paved road will shorten the distance of travel to connect 2,000 people more efficiently to exchange goods, services and improve economical growth.
