Lance Cpl. Clifton Perkins, a motor transportation operator with Combat Logistics Battalion-6, Combat Logistics Regiment-2, Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Afghanistan, lost 120 pounds in order to earn the title "Marine." With an intense schedule of running, weight lifting and healthy eating, the Glasgow, Ky., native was able to accomplish this feat within six months prior to recruit training. Here, he is seen in the cab of a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement Feb. 21.
