Skijorging is the main event for the Crystal Carnival held in Leadville, Colo. A skier is pulled by a horse and the object is to get as many rings as possible in the shortest time. Soldiers from 324th Psychological Operatons company, stationed in Aurora, Colo., participated in cold weather, high altitude training at Camp Hale, Colorado, March 5-7. The training included negotiating up the snowy mountains to broadcast a message, how to prevent cold weather injuries, assesesment of a local populace, and winter driving. The 324th PSYOP Battlation is part of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne).
