    20th CBRNE Command

Capt. Taylor Duren, 28th Ordnance Company (EOD) (Airborne) commander, receives the 2016 General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award from Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Mark A. Milley during the ceremony on June 1 in Washington, D.C. Duren was one of 28 Army officers who received the 2016 General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award June, but he is the first EOD officer to ever win it. The other gentleman in the picture is James Wofford of the Gen. MacArthur Foundation. The MacArthur Award recognizes company grade officers from the active Army, National Guard, and Army Reserve. Recipients embody leadership qualities demonstrated by General MacArthur, a U.S. five-star general during World War II and exhibit exceptional ability to ensure their Soldiers are trained and ready to meet the highest standards necessary for the United States’ global missions.
