FORT FISHER, N.C. — North Carolina Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Kenneth Beard (far right), the assistant adjutant general-sustainment, and Command Sgt. Maj. John Cole, of the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, form a triangular formation to pass the brigade colors (flag) to Col. Timothy Aiken, the incoming commander, during an assumption of command ceremony at Fort Fisher Training Center, June 12, 2016. Beard said Aiken is adequately equipped to be successful at the brigade and he can’t wait to see the accomplishments under his leadership.
