    Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak pilots Lt. Cmdr. Scott Jackson and Lt. Scott Walden, guided by Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew Talton, an aviation maintainence technician, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Anthony Newgent, an avionics electrical technician, practice landing an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter to the deck of the Seattle-based Coast Guard Cutter Polar Sea underway in Chiniak Bay just off Kodiak Island April 6. The pilots conduct the training at least annually on the larger cutters in both day and night conditions to remain proficient should they need to conduct deck landings for operations or search and rescue.
