A boot covered in fake blood was left on Gryphon Group Security Solutions’ medical training lane after the amputee role-player was evacuated by Soldiers with 4th Military Information Support Group, May 4, 2016. The lane pits a small contingent against an overwhelming force with fire superiority. The team must make their way to an extraction point while providing medical aid to the wounded they sustained en route. Cadre use stressful and realistic situations such as this to reinforce the importance of situational awareness during direct action and traumatic events. Soldiers trained on advanced pistol marksmanship, evasive driving, and first aid techniques during the week-long course at the Fort Bragg Combat Training Center in Maxton, North Carolina.
