A Chinook with Company F, Task Force Lighthorse, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, Task Force Falcon, carries a cargo container from the Korengal Outpost in eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province, April 9. During Operation Mountain Descent II, more than 500 Soldiers and nearly half a million pounds of equipment were airlifted out of the Korengal valley; this was the large-scale movement of U.S. forces out of the valley, which was completed on the morning of April 14.
