(June, 2016) The Blue Blasters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 34, based in Oceana, Va., perform a fly-by before the Class of 2020 oath of office at the end of Induction Day at the U.S. Naval Academy. All of the pilots in the formation are U.S. Naval Academy graduates. Induction Day marks the beginning of Plebe Summer, the six week indoctrination that transitions civilian students to military life.
