Army Staff Sgt. Emmanuel Emekaewue, Bravo Company, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne, deployed from Ft. Bragg, N.C., finished first in the Pat Tillman Memorial Run with a run time of 28 minutes, 47 seconds. The course was 4.2 miles long, running through the airfield at the Haiti International Airport. Pat Tillman Memorial Runs are held to honor the former NFL player who joined the U.S. Army and later died in Operation Enduring Freedom.
