JBSA FORT SAM HOUSTON- Brig. Gen. Kenneth D. Jones, outgoing 4th ESC commanding general, addresses the Soldiers, giving them his final words of wisdom during the Relinquishment of Command Ceremony at the MacArthur Parade Field July 9. The ceremony symbolizes the continuity of authority as the command is passed from one individual to another. Brig. Gen. Jones, a Texas native from Bryan, took command of the 4th ESC last May, just a month before the command deployed in support of the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) and conducted operations in five countries within the CENTCOM area of operations.
