PACIFIC OCEAN (July 20, 2016) – Lt. j.g. Clara Candalor assesses the flight deck for safety hazards while Sailors and Marines conduct a helicopter movement prior to flight operations aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25). Somerset is participating in PHIBRON-MEU Integrated Training (PMINT), a scenario-based amphibious integration exercise with Amphibious Squadron Five and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (MKIARG).
