Lance Cpl. David Aparicio, a Chicago native serving as an aviation ordnance systems technician here with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16, loads a 2.75-inch flechette rocket into a fast pack, which ordnance Marines use to speed the proccess of loading munitions onto aircraft. The Marines also assemble high explosive fragmentation rockets, loading their fast packs with about 24 HE and 24 flechettes.
