U.S. Marine Cpl. Steven W. Boleyn was recently recognized for his work as a crew chief and low altitude training instructor with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron – 363, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force – Crisis Response - Central Command. The 22-year-old has flown over 30 combat hours in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Additionally, his support of maintenance of the aircraft has allowed the unit to maintain their readiness posture as the assigned theater tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel alert posture, providing a personnel recovery capability. SPMAGTF – CR – CC is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
