FORT CARSON, Colorado – Lt. Col. Chad Foster (center), commander, 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, shares the history of the unit’s Buffalo Soldier heritage with squadron leaders in front of the newly dedicated Buffalo Soldier Community Memorial at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado, July 28, 2016. The 4th Squadron is the last remaining active unit in 10th Cav, which was one of the original six segregated Army regiments established by U.S. Congress on July 28, 1866.
