Marines compete in a tug-a-war during the Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28’s third annual Spartan Cup to bolster camaraderie and to test the Marines’ physical abilities aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., July 22, 2016. The day started with a squadron run followed by several events, including squad pull-ups; weapons disassembly and reassembly; Humvee push; Tug-of-War; and an Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Training competition. Marines within the three companies competed to win Spartan-themed trophies and coveted bragging rights until the next annual cup. The winner of the Spartan guidon was Bravo Company.
