Navy Chief Petty Officer Robert P.K. Craig, a chief hospital corpsman assigned to the Cherry Point Aviation Survival Training Center, shows Skylar E. Kowalski and Jared G. Kopecky, both 8th graders from H.J. MacDonald Middle School of New Bern, samples of surival training gear used by pilots and aircrew who undergo training at ASTC, during an April 27 Student at Work Initiative project. A total of 20 students from H.J. MacDonald Middle School and Grover C. Fields Middle School of New Bern, visited the air station to shadow Marines, Sailors and Department of Defense civilians who maintain individual work-centers throughout the air station.
