Runners pass the starting line of the four-mile run over the San Diego-Coronado Bridge during the 24th annual Bay Bridge Run/Walk in support of Navy Region Southwest, Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities for Sailors. This event is the only day of the year pedestrians are allowed to use the scenic bridge above San Diego Bay.
