The new dining facility, which opened July 16, at Al Asad, Iraq, has more than twice the seating room as the previous chow halls. The new DFAC can seat nearly a quarter of the base population in it at any given time. The new DFAC also offers 4 main lines and 4 short order lines to make it easier for service members to get their food and sit down.
