Petty Officer 3rd Class Kelsey A. Reno, a logistics specialist and a Naval Medical Center San Diego decontamination team member, participates in the annual statewide Golden Guardian drill. The purpose of the drill is to exercise NMCSD's response to treating patients in a radiation contaminated mass casualty scenario. The staff responded to more than 100 simulated patients playing various levels of trauma.
