Master Sgt. Clifford Hughes, KC-10 Extender flight engineer from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, aligns the aircraft navigation systems at a previous deployment to a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia on Jan. 3, 2009. He is also turning on the navigation radios and checking the status of the associated systems. Sergeant Hughes surpassed 400 career combat missions on May 21.
