Emilio Valencia from Tucson, Ariz., performs a pre-flight inspection on an AV-8B Harrier assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced) aboard amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8).
