160923-N-TI693-049 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY PANAMA CITY Fla. (September 23, 2016) - Naval Support Activity Panama City's (NSAPC) environmental department conducted a living shoreline restoration project where base-wide personnel came out to volunteer to lend a helping hand. The living shoreline restoration consisted of a shoreline trash cleanup followed by the placement of oyster beds that will help propagate juvenile species of fish, prevent shoreline erosion, and remove foreign matter.
