SAN DIEGO (Oct. 10, 2016) - Petty Officer 2nd Class Greg Mitchell, a native of Washington, instructs Seaman Joann Jones, a native of Taberg, N.Y., and Seaman Breanna Thweatt, a native of Batesville, Miss., on proper techniques in tying a stopper as USS Nimitz (CVN 68) pulls into Naval Air Station North Island. Nimitz successfully completed a six-day sea trials officially marking the completion of a 20-month extended planned incremental availability.
