Arlt, an amphibious assault vehicle maintenance team leader with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, volunteered for the community relations event during San Francisco Fleet Week. San Francisco Fleet Week is an event where thousands of Marines and Sailors come to showcase the capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team to local residents, and an opportunity for service members to meet and thank the San Francisco community for its support.
