A Brazilian Special Operation soldier fires his rifle at a series of targets during the rifle qualification event June17 outside the Dominican Army’s 1st Infantry Brigade in Santo Domingo. This event is one of many Special Operations teams from 18 nations across the western hemisphere are evaluated on as part of the Fuerzas Comando 2010 competition. The rifle and pistol event judge the marksmanship abilities of each Special Operations team. The winning team earns 100 points toward their overall score in the weeklong competition.
