Runners from the U.S., French, Belgian, Polish, Italian, and Spanish armed services, along with a number of civilian contractors, take off from the starting line at the Army 10-Miler Shadow Race held near Baghdad, Iraq, Oct. 9, 2016. The Army 10-Miler is held every October in Washington, D.C. with shadow runs sponsored in various locations around the globe for deployed service members.
