Airmen from the 379th ECES and 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron took down several inactive microwave dish transmitters from a radio tower. The transmitters previously provided internet and phone communication to the both the base and Camp As Sayliyah, but base infrastructure improvements over the years have rendered the dishes unnecessary.
