An actor pretends to dismember a victim on an operating table in the Okinawa Haunted Labyrinth Oct. 29 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The open-gate event is designed to bring Okinawa residents and Status of Forces Agreement members together to enjoy candy, art activities and a good scare. The Okinawa Single Marine Program organized the event with dozens of volunteers who built and designed the twisting maze in approximately four weeks. The volunteers assembled their costumes and took their places in the maze to deliver their chilling performances as hundreds of attendees filtered through.
