Eric Smith, a military working dog handler, and Viola, a patrol explosive detector dog with the 550th Military Working Dog Detachment, 42nd Military Police Detachment, 503rd Military Police Battalion, search for explosives during an explosive detection training exercise Nov. 8, 2016 at Macomb Warehouse, Fort Bragg, N.C. The training helps the dog and her handler to minimize confusion while searching more than one objective in large areas.
