Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Bryan Coffman, Lt. Joseph Heal, Petty Officer 2nd Class, Lopaka Helepoloei and Petty Officer 3rd Class, Richard Hoefle, members of a MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles were presented with the Department Star Scroll from Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnelll. The crew was awarded along with members of the LA County Fire Department and Sheriff's Department for their heroic actions, collaborative efforts and bravery while saving the life of a scuba diver, October 7, 2015.
