JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 5, 2016) – Lt. Cmdr. John Connolly, Naval Hospital (NH) Jacksonville chaplain, discusses Bible study lessons with a military retiree. The Navy Chaplain Corps celebrates its 241st birthday on Nov. 28 and is comprised of over 1,000 chaplains from more than 100 different faith groups (including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism). Navy Chaplains promote the spiritual, religious, moral, and personal well-being of sailors, marines and their families.
