Sgt. 1st Class Shelby Reed, an automated logistics specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Area Support Group, Camp Arifjan, participates in the graphics and overlays portion of Battle Staff training at Camp Buehring, July 19. Non-commissioned officers on multiple continents are participating simultaneously in the training via video- teleconference from Fort Bliss, Texas. The Battle Staff Training, which lasts approximately four weeks, is scheduled to be offered at Camp Arifjan in October. The NCO's who complete the course will be better equipped to sustain the fight as Third Army continues its strategic drawdown of Iraq and build up in Afghanistan.
