Marines provide suppressive fire at a simulated target at Range 410A at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twenty-nine Palms, Calif., Oct. 21, 2016. The training helped strengthen the Marines’ concept of ‘economy of rounds’ which is a technique the Marine Corps infantry uses to conserve ammunition in order to provide a longer period of suppression. The Marines are with Company C, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division. (U.S Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Juan A. Soto-Delgado)
